JJ WHITEHEAD (Canada)

Canadian headline comedian returns to NZ for one week only

With a disarming stage presence, Jason John Whitehead delivers unabashedly personal stories and blistering social satire in a unique style that can only come from a Canadian who cut his comedy Teeth in Great Britain. You may even recognize him from appearances at our own New Zealand Comedy Festival from 2003-2016. 

He is a welcomed regular on British and Canadian TV, international festivals and such prestigious clubs as The Comedy Store, The Glee Clubs, Yuk Yuks, Carolines on Broadway NY and many more.

Currently living in LA he is National supporting comedian for Australian Barnstormer Jim Jefferies and he wrote for 3 seasons on The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central in the USA.
