Te Radar is an award winning satirist, documentary maker, writer, stage and screen director, terrible gardener, failed war correspondent, and amateur historian.
He starred in several top rating TVNZ programmes, including Off the Radar, Radars Patch, Global Radar, Radar across the Pacific and Homegrown. His latest TV show is Te Radar’s Chequered Past, based on his acclaimed New Zealand history stage show Eating the Dog.
He also has a stage show on Antarctic history, and is working on a new show about the New Zealand Wars. He is sought after as an after-dinner and corporate speaker and as MC for awards nights.
Unique in NZ comedy, Te Radar is the deconstructionalist of stand-up comedy. Former recipient of the Billy T Award , the Fred Award, and 2 Qantas Media Awards, he is also a veteran of 6 series of PULP COMEDY TV.
