Austin is one of Aotearoa's most prolific independent producers and performers. His works include Poprox, Magnus Steel, Ungartered Territory and F^CKING ACE. His plaudits include "Favourite Comedian" at Dunedin Fringe 2026 and "Best Newcomer (Wellington)" at the NZ Comedy Festival 2026.

Working across theatre, improv, comedy and interactive performance, Austin's trademark charm and warmth have graced stages across New Zealand, Australia and beyond. He is the current Artistic Director of the New Zealand Improv Festival
