Upstairs in The Classic Studio / 1st Floor

You may not realise that NZ's home of live comedy has a second venue, upstairs on the 1st floor above our Main Ground Floor venue. It's funky, seats up to 60 people with a great intimate atmosphere. We host a wide variety of shows that offer an alternative to the big mainstream line-up shows downstairs including solo one night stands, works in progress, international guests, new format live shows and TV pilots. Also very popular during the annual International Comedy Festival.

Semi cabaret style.

Limited bar with a selection of beer, wine, house spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
