 Late & Live at The Classic

Every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm, the home of live comedy plays host to a late and live line-up of international guest headliners and local heroes in a two-hour frenzy of late-night laughs.

Expect the unexpected as the comedians break out their latest ideas and let loose at the end of another big night in the Festival. No two shows are ever the same.

Soak up the Festival atmosphere in The Classic’s Front Bar.

Line-ups will be posted on Facebook each weekend and at the door.
Each week features 5 or 6 local and international comedians.

Seating: For all shows we recommend arriving 15mins before the show starts. 
All seating is allocated by the Duty Manager on the night starting from the front.
Groups booked under the same name will automatically be sat together. 
Seating is cabaret style with the best tables located at the front of the room. 
Latecomers are not guaranteed seats together

This venue is on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible. 

The Law: The Classic is a licensed bar requiring all minors (under 18) to be accompanied by THEIR parent at all times. 
Anyone looking under 25 will be asked for ID in the form of : NZ Driver's License, Passport or HNZ 18+ Card only.
This show is strictly R18.
Entry will not be granted to minors, those without ID or intoxicated persons.
