Meet Danny Ward, before he was an award-winning stand-up comedian he worked on the Hollywood movie The Holiday.

After going to LA himself he realised the similarities between his own vacation and the plot of the film.

Come and hear all the behind the scenes gossip about (almost) everyone’s favourite Christmas movie and find out just why his holiday last year bore so many similarities to the plot of the film.

Danny Ward made his NZ Fest debut in 2025 where he hosted and headlined a number of shows across the 3 week festival. He returned to the UK where he enjoyed an award winning, critically acclaimed season at the Edinburgh Fringe. We are very excited to welcome him back to NZ in 2026 with this show.
