Thursday Pro Night

From 8pm every Thursday we feature 5 Pro comedians including international guests, our comedian of the week, rising stars and we also introduce an exciting new face each week. It's the longest running comedy night, 18 years, in New Zealand and the place to celebrate both our heroes and the future of local live comedy.

Welcome to the Classic - New Zealand's home of live comedy.

321 Queen St, just up from the Town Hall and Aotea Square

The Classic Comedy & Bar are the Classic Studio are located in the heart of Auckland`s entertainment precinct and feature local and international guest acts up to six nights a week.

The original design and layout of NZ's only fulltime professional comedy club is based on some of the most successful clubs in the USA and the UK. Not surprisingly, many have had nothing but praise for the atmosphere and audiences.

The main venue room can accommodate 140 people in comfortable cabaret-style seating, adjacent to a separate front Bar which is open from 6:30pm till late.

The Classic Studio upstairs can accomodate another 40 people in close up personal environment.
