A comedy poetry show featuring NZ's best and funniest wordsmiths.
Notable poet Ruby Esther (Top 5 Slam Poets in NZ) and accomplished raconteur Brendon Green (Best Storytelling Show – Auckland Fringe 2018) are showcasing live poetry readings and spoken word performance that will lift your spirits, tickle your brain, and make you laugh.
Alongside Ruby and Brendon, a fresh selection of quality poets and performers will take the stage each month.
They'll be sharing unique and original pieces of work, each carefully crafted to entertain you.
With a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming vibe, this is the perfect night out for anyone who takes joy in a well chosen word.
Ruby & Brendon Reviews:
“Ruby was immensely engaging” - The Speakeasy
“Her content is intelligently crafted and confidently delivered...I’d pay to see that.” - Theatreview
"In a world of comedy where so much is pulp fiction: fast, furious and full of action, Green is literature. His prose is astoundingly well structured. I float in them as the words flow through me, yet he spears us by harpoon during each climax. Green is a rare performer." - Art Murmers
