THE 5 STAR COMEDY PREVIEW 2017 at SKYCITY Theatre

5 STAR PREVIEW - Sky City

UPDATE : SORRY - this show is now sold out.

We recommend the Comedy All Star Showcase - Sat 29 Apr at the Bruce Mason Centre OR

The Classic Comedy Festival Preview at 10pm on Fri 28 Apr (7pm Sold Out)

Try before you buy! With so many comedians and shows in the festival one sure way to shorten your wish list is to catch one of the big line-up showcases at the top of the annual festival and sample a wide range of international styles and material

For this reason The 5 Star Comedy Preview has become one of the festivals hottest tickets featuring, for the first time ever, ten international comedians, providing a taste of things to come, in a 2 hour+ showcase.

Making their NZ debut in 2017 are Hal Cruttenden, Ed Gamble, Adam Hess and Lou Sanders from England plus Iain Stirling from Scotland. We also welcome a Comedy and Fringe Festival legend, Abandoman.

They will be joined by the return of some favourites from recent years including Ismo Leikola from Finland, as voted The Funniest Comedian in the World in the Laugh Factory USA’s 2014 on line global search. He sold out his a season at The Classic in 2016 and is back due to public demand.

Other favourites returning are Brit's Jimmy McGhie, Markus Birdman and this years host, Chris Martin.

All these acts will be appearing in a variety of shows throughout the festival including their own award winning solo shows but the ‘5 Star Comedy Preview’ is a rare opportunity to see them altogether on the same stage.
