Exciting young comedian debuts NZ

Watch Phil Wang on Live At The Apollo

Malaysian British comedian, Phil Wang, is one of the UK’s most exciting stand-up comedians, and as always we've invited only the best and brightest of the young comedians to perform at this year's Comedy Fest 2018.

Writer, comedian and presenter; he is the Phil-package .. see what we did there. (terrible!)
As well as stand-up comedy, Phil is also a member of the accredited sketch trio, Daphane, nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award.
A career of sketch and stand-up have sharpened his skills; intelligent, spontaneous and a keen wit.
This young man does not miss a beat.

Phil has appeared on several shows including Live at the Apollo (BBC2), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Would I Lie to You? (BBC1), The John Bishop Show (BBC1), Russel Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4) and Drunk History (Comedy Central). It has recently been announced that Phil will appear as part of a Netflix upcoming comedy special later this year.

An internationally-acclaimed live act, Phil has performed four solo stand-up shows at Edinburgh Festival, as well as international performances at festivals including Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Phil makes his NZ debut in this year's Comedy Fest.
