Lewis Dean began comedy in 2009 with the 'Class Comedians' program where he performed for the first time at the Auckland town hall Concert Chamber. A year, and several successful gigs later, Lewis was back in the town hall this time opening for New Zealand comedy superstar Ben Hurley in the 2010 NZ International Comedy Festival.�

During the same festival Lewis also performed with New Zealand favorites Ewen Gilmour and Simon Mckinney before going on to be winner of the 2010 Raw Comedy Quest. Not too shabby for a kid who's only sixteen.
