Craig Campbell (Canada) is back!

Canadian outdoor adventurer is back in doors at The Classic Comedy Club to celebrate 20 years of Comedy Festival in New Zealand.

Canadian, CRAIG CAMPBELL is known as the outdoor adventurer of comedy in the UK where he now lives; stand-up oddly is one of the few things he does inside. A strapping ex-athlete, at 6ft 3in, with Scottish ancestry, he commands his stages with vigor relishing the banter with un-weary hecklers. As an instinctive entertainer, CRAIG brings his characteristic wit, talkative charm and animated manner to stories about his travels; befriending the audience with accents and boisterous reenactments.

NZ festival scouts first spotted a young Craig Campbell in 1997 touting his new face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has since visited our festival 3 times and returns in 2012, opening his brand new show on Sat 28 April at The Classic for a 2 week season followed by a week at the San Francisco Bathhouse in Wellington.

He arrives in NZ match fit on the back of his first full solo national tour in the UK where he has established his reputation as a top headline act including numerous recent appearances on career making TV shows such as Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadshow (BBC One) and Russell Howards Good News (BBC Three).

Once the notorious host of Canada's legendary TV show Ed's Night Party, and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows such as Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs.
