Adam Wright SQ14

Promising New Face in 2014 from Wellington

Adam Wright burst onto the scene in wellington at the beginning of 2011, and quickly made a name as one of the funniest new comedians in town.

Since then Wright has been a Wellington Raw comedy finalist twice, featured in the annual young guns showcase of emerging talent and supported the likes of James Nokise and Steve Wrigley.

Wright has an observational humour style, interspersed with anecdotes and sharp pop culture assassination.

2013 saw Wrights debut in the NZ International comedy festival as part of a double act in "Gloriously Average".

Now a favourite around Wellington and regular performer at  "The Medicine" comedy night, Wright hosts a podcast with Billy T award Winner Jarrod baker and is an active (some would say over-active) tweeter at @Wright_Now .
